My artistic activity is focused on the theme of oxymoron, present both in titles and in contents.
Titles are contradictions in terms (wind sculpture, rain sculpture, puff sculpture, throwing a though at you, etc.). The word “sculpture” reminds of something that is really heavy, while the words “wind”, “rain”, “puff” and “thought” remind of something that is impalpable.
The contrast between heavy materials like stone and marble with the extreme lightness of the simulated subjects (feathers, small airplanes, lace, soap bubble) is a metaphoric representation of the strident contrasts that have characterized and still characterizes the path followed by human beings between negativity and positivity.
Another element of contrast is the language used to express these concepts. The contrast between reality and fiction: reality becomes fiction when it is represented my art, fiction becomes reality the very moment it becomes so convincing that it seems real.

Events of extraordinary violence upset the world starting from 2001. I could not turn my head away. I decided to put aside my artistic path for a while and express my state of mind and my sense of shock towards what was occurring.
